Listening to the Aunties play and sing is my favorite thing to do when I am on Kauai. And they always play all of my requests 🙂
Hi Haunani,
We are happy that you’ve semi retired but we miss seeing you and hearing your beautiful voice. We tried to find you last year and again this year.
Happy Healthy New Year.

I’ve been trying hard to make contact with haunani! I didn’t see her on my recent Hawaiian Holiday. I have known Haunani nearly 3 decades. I miss communicating with her. Doesn’t she still have a valid email address?
Aloha Hounani. Leona tells me we’ll miss you tonight because of dental issues. So sorry we won’t see you. Enjoy your vacation in Vegas!! We’re not sure we’ll return to Kauai again. We wish you all the best in your semi-retirement! We’ve enjoyed you and your music for many years! Mahalo

Aloha Haunani! Your beautiful playing and singing mesmerized me at Tahiti Nui in September of 2021! I’m so grateful to have gotten video of you two now that you are retired. I found you online to hopefully ask if you would grace us with your music at our wedding in Kalihiwai Congratulations but please know you will be missed! Mahalo for all the music you have shared.
Hi, Haunani,
It has been a few years since we first met. I still love and continue to listen to the cassettes I bought from you that first time. I would love more. Any cds available? Nothing on Amazon.
Congratulations on your retirement Hunani. We think if you often. Catherine Goins and Linda Ramer in California!
After canceling on 2020 trip, we are finally back on Kauai. We so much hoped to see you perform again but are pleased to learn of your retirement. Hope you are well and enjoying life on the slow lane.
Congratulations and oooh nooo! We love Aunty Haunani! So much aloha and such good ol’ school kine music! She was always so generous to let us from Aloha Music Camp come dance our newly-learned hulas for her.
I’m with the other folks who commented: going we can coax a return, at least now and then, to the stage! đź’–

Dear Haunani, We have not been to Kauai since August of 2019, but are hoping to return this October. We will miss seeing you at Trees, but wish you all the best in your retirement.
Hi again, Haunani: So sorry to your card announced your retirement. The tapes and CDs are wearing thin and I still can’t get you on ALEXA! As soon as my replaced hips allow, we’re coming to the Garden Isle. It won’t be the same if we can’t see you. Hank from Surprise, AZ
Our family has been coming to Kauai since pre-Iniki. Have enjoyed Haunani at Hula Girl, Hyatt, Wahooo’s, Eastside, Marriott Courtyard, Tahiti Nui, Jailhouse Pub, Lemongrass and Trees. She always made our trips special. Hopefully after post COVID we will be back to Kauai and celebrate Haunani’s coming out of retirement.
